Peanut Butter Bento

Peanut Butter is the star of this bento. I packed my new Quad bento with Peanut Butter, and yummy things to dip into said peanut butter. Check it out!
  • Celery (2 Stalks cut into 9ths)
  • Apple (Medium Apple sliced)
  • Pretzel Sticks (30 Snyder's Gluten Free Pretzels)
  • Trail Mix (1 Tbsp each: Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Sliced Almonds, Whole O's gf cereal, gf Rice Krispies)
  • Raisins (Mini Box)
  • Peanut Butter (2 Tbsp Teddie Chunky Peanut Butter with Flaxseed)
Yum!, I love these kind of bentos because I love peanut Butter, and I love snacks of some kind of fruit/veggie/etc and some kind of dip. First I dumped the raisins into the peanut butter and mixed it around, then I was dipping the celery/apple/pretzels into the peanut butter and then dipping that into the trail mix. It was sooooo gooood. It's a lot higher calories then I would usually eat for one meal, but that is because I woke up late today and this is both my breakfast and my lunch.
I don't recommend eating all of this as a snack unless you are sharing the portions with at least one other person.

  3. I laughed when I saw you describe cutting the celery into 9ths--seems very precise--but you mean thirds lengthwise and thirds crosswise, right? I cut my celery sticks that way, too--I was never a fan of celery "boats."

    1. Yes, I didn't feel like explaining how I cut the celery, so I figured just putting 9th up people would be able to figure it out. lol
I only like celery 'boats' if I am filling them with peanut butter (like ant's on a log), but if I am dipping them into something the boats just seem too large.
