Greek Yogurt Snack Bento

Since I got my LunchBot's Quad Bento box, I love packing snack bentos! It's so easy to pack a variety of different foods without having them co-mingle. Today at the grocery store I found single serving cups of Greek Yogurt in some yummy sounding flavors. I haven't had yogurt (besides frozen yogurt) in a month or so, so I decided to give one of them a try. I bought the Honey-nana flavor. Yum, Honey and Banana!
  • 1/8 cup Corn Chex Cereal
  • 1/8 cup Whole O's Cereal
  • 1/8 cup Enjoy Life Crunchy Flax Cereal
  • Sugar Free Rainbow Jello
  • 1/2 serving Chobani Honey-nana Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 package Strawberry Banana Fruit Crisps
This was a delicious and satisfying snack. I am usually not a fan of Greek yogurt, but this flavor was very yummy, and I think I'll continue to buy these little yogurt cups in an effort to get myself to eat more yogurt and get more calcium and protein in the process.
I realize that this bento is packed with a lot of fruit flavors, and no vegetables... I hardly ever snack on vegetables. I love vegetables so much that I eat a ton of them in a meal, so I guess it's ok that I'm snacking on mostly fruit and dry cereal...
But let me tell you, I look at a ton of bento blogs out there and it drives me nuts to see NO VEGETABLES and a ton of fruit and cheese. These bentos I see are intended for children, and I wonder what is up with the parents packing these bentos. I desperately hope they serve vegetables with breakfast and dinner if they aren't bothering to serve them at lunch. And I also think the bread and cheese is a huge overload. Wow! I guess it's a good thing I don't have kids because I'd be a food Nazi.

    1. Thank you. I bought the silicone cupcake liners at my local craft store. They are in the cake decorating area. Target and Walmart carry them too.
