Deconstructed Sausage Omelet Bento

Lat night I made omelets for dinner as well as home fries to go along with it. I wanted to make myself a bento, but I wasn't feeling particularly creative, so I plopped in each of the ingredients and made myself a Deconstructed Sausage Omelet Bento.
I tried to be a little creative with the placing of the Cherry Tomatoes and the Ketchup. But it still looks lazy to me. Lazy but Tasty!
  • Homemade Home-fries with Ketchup on top
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Egg Beaters (cooked into a sheet and failed to roll up nicely)
  • Ground Breakfast Sausage, Onions, and Spinach
It was super tasty, but I really could have done a whole lot better on presentation. Oh well, it didn't last long after I took the picture anyway.

  3. I really love to see and be inspired by 'mature' bento, yours look delicious! I really like cutesy themed ones too but my boyfriend is usually to embarrassed to take those to work :) I have lots of new ideas now, thank you.

  4. Thank you Fawn. I am glad my bentos gave you inspiration for your own. I love making bentos for me and my fiance, and I do not know why so many people make them just for kids. I find Bentos are great for anyone and they do not have to be cutesie if you do not want them to be.
