This is my usual breakfast, Yogurt, fruit, Milled Flax, and Fiber One Cereal... But since they are Red White and Blue, I decided to make a patriotic bento since the 4th of July is quickly coming up.
It was a little difficult getting the strawberries in place. I realize I should have sliced them and laid them out instead of chopped them up like I usually do. Oops. Oh well It's way too late now since I just finished eating it and I already erased the pictures from the camera. lol
Sorry about the cookie cutter, I was afraid if I removed it all the fruit would fall and the flax seed wouldn't be very star shaped...
But it didn't turn out bad at all! Woo Hoo! I actually started off with 13 Blueberries for the 13 Origional Colonies... but the fruit and the colors looked lopsided because I used so many strawberries.... I couldn't help it they were so sweet and ripe I just kept cutting up more of them lol.
Yum!

- 1/4th Cup Fiber One Cereal
- 2 Strawberries chopped (I added more before I ate it because they were so good)
- Stonyfield Organic French Vanilla Fat Free Probiotic Yogurt
- Milled Flax Seed
- 25+ Blueberries (I lost count)
Yum!
...I'm so hungry now. ...*cries!*
ReplyDeleteStar came out pretty! And it looks soooo tasty! And cute!
Okay, question... what IS the flax seed stuff you use? Is it flavoring? Just for looks? What?

Flax seed is a seed that contains a high level of dietary fiber. So if you need fiber in your diet I recommend Flax. It is best to use it milled/crushed because it is easier for your body to absorb the nutrients in it. It doesn't have much of a taste, I have eaten it alone before and it didn't really taste like much, so it is perfect for mixing into any type of food you want.
ReplyDeletePlus it's really easy for me to use to make pictures on my food. :)
...Only just occurred to me to see if you responded. LOL. *DUMB*
ReplyDeleteNifty! And yeah, it seems super useful for that! ^_^
